Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 410 to 771 sfm, feeds from 0.005 to 0.014 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.138 in. These parameters enable efficient general cutting operations with a focus on finishing and semi-finishing. It is designed primarily for ISO P20-P25 steel materials. The positive rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape make it well suited for continuous cutting conditions, but it is not recommended for heavy interrupted cuts. Its geometry favors thin-wall workpieces and low-rigidity setups, delivering good contouring capabilities.
