Cutting speed ranges from 98 to 574 sfm, feed rates from 0.009 to 0.024 in/rev, and depth of cut up to 0.197 in. These parameters support medium to rough turning and facing operations with high material removal rates. The insert excels in general cutting with strong performance in interrupted cuts due to its negative rake design. This insert is suitable for ISO groups P30-P40 (steel), M20-M30 (stainless steel), K20-K25 (cast iron), and S15-S25 (HRSA/Titanium). It is ideal for roughing and medium turning on steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and stainless materials, especially in rigid setups requiring strong edge strength. It is not recommended for precision finishing, profiling, or thin-wall workpieces sensitive to cutting forces.
