Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 82 to 525 sfm, feeds ranging from 0.004 to 0.016 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.177 in. It is designed for interrupted cutting and roughing operations, handling medium to heavy cuts effectively. It is suitable for ISO material groups P35-P45 (Steel) as the primary range and M30-M40 (Stainless steel), K30-K35 (Cast iron), and S25-S35 (HRSA/Titanium) as secondary ranges. The negative rake chipbreaker and robust 80° diamond shape make it ideal for roughing and interrupted cuts, but it is not intended for finishing or profiling applications.
