Built to handle severe electrical faults, the Siemens HED43B040 is a 40A, 3-pole molded case circuit breaker. It utilizes fixed thermal and magnetic trip elements to protect commercial and industrial distribution systems. The breaker bolts into Siemens Sentron P1, P2, and P3 panelboards, as well as SB switchboards. For future upgrades, it is replaced by the 3VA5140-6ED31-0AA0 with an adapter strap. It features a 42kAIC rating at 480VAC, is HACR rated, and includes load-side lugs.
