Solid Carbide AlTiN-coated Finishing End Mill for General Machining Applications. Presented here are square nose, right-hand single-end mills from Rushmore. The product is offered in a 4-flute, center-cutting, right-hand spiral design with a lower helix angle of 30°. It comes in 22 different fractional sizes ranging from 1/32″ to 1″ with a shank diameter of 1/8″, 3/16″, 1/4″. The assortments are made from premium submicron carbide with 10% cobalt. The AlTiN coating on the cutting edges offer good thermal stability for increased speeds and feeds. It results in excellent heat resistance, good lubricity, better finishes and prolongs tool life. Square end mills are generally applied in slotting, profiling, peripheral, helical, ramping, and plunge cutting.
