Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 492 to 3281 sfm, feeds from 0.001 to 0.007 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. Its positive rake chipbreaker and 1/32″ nose radius enable precise finishing with stable continuous cutting conditions. The maximum depth of cut is the hard upper limit for this insert. Designed primarily for ISO group N (non-ferrous metals), this insert excels in finishing aluminum, copper alloys, and other ductile non-ferrous materials. It is optimized for continuous cutting only and is not suitable for interrupted cuts or rough conditions.
