Applications

This CCMT turning insert supports cutting speeds from 115 to 656 sfm, feeds between 0.004 and 0.012 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. It is designed for continuous to general cutting operations within these parameters. The insert is suitable for ISO material groups S05-S15 (HRSA/Titanium) as the primary range and M10-M20 (Stainless steel) and H05-H10 (Hardened steel) as secondary materials. Its positive rake geometry and 80° diamond shape make it ideal for finishing and semi-finishing, but it is not recommended for heavy interrupted cuts or roughing. Interrupted cutting is not supported with this insert.
