The 45° helix angle paired with five flutes improves chip evacuation and surface finish quality, particularly under light radial stock conditions, by minimizing vibration and enhancing dimensional accuracy. Equipped with a TiCN coating, this end mills sharp geometry and high flute count promote smooth cutting and extend tool life by reducing built-up edge. Its lack of a corner radius allows for detailed contouring but requires caution to prevent chipping during interrupted cuts. This tool is not recommended for use on heat-resistant superalloys (HRSA ISO S) due to coating unsuitability. It performs best in finishing low carbon steels such as 1018 and A36, where surface finish and dimensional precision are essential.
