The tool is designed for peripheral machining, ramping, slotting, plunging and helical cutting. These straight shank single-end mills have spiral flutes with a lower 30-degree helix angle. It goes on to improve machining stability at high speeds and result in a smooth machining finish on the workpiece. The center-cutting design has cutting teeth at the end of the tool, thus fed into the workpiece like a drill bit. The tool offers a right-hand (clockwise) cutting direction. The single-end mill tool is available in 27 different sizes ranging from 1/8 inch to 2 inches. The overall tool length comes in 10 different sizes from 2-5/16 inches to 4-1/8 inches.
