Coated Single End Mills in Metric & Fractional Sizes. Here are T&O’s registered SUPERCREED series single end mills made from ultra-fine solid carbide and available in X-Factor coating. X-Factor coating improves oxidation resistance and tool toughness. The tool comes with a variable helix that reduces vibration. a four-flute design and a round shank. The end mill’s four flutes allow faster removal of chips while cooling fluids enter easily. Some assortments in fractional sizes are available in the square end that creates sharp, unrounded cuts. While assortments with Corner radius protects against end mill chipping. The tool offers right-hand (clockwise) cutting direction. The center-cutting design has cutting teeth at the end of the tool, thus fed into the workpiece like a drill bit. The high cobalt content allows for high cutting rates. The tool is best suited for difficult-to-machine materials including titanium alloys, heat resistant alloys, stainless steels, grey cast iron, and material under HRC 40. Solid carbide construction makes the tool more wear-resistant at high speeds. Cutting diameter tolerance is +0.000 inch to -0.0012 inch. The tool is available in 6 different fractional sizes ranging from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch and overall tool length 1-1/2 inch to 3 inches. The tool also comes in 7 different metric sizes ranging from 3mm to 12mm and overall tool length ranging from 57mm to 83 mm. T&O is known for delivering optimal performance, quality, and consistency at an attractive price. All T&O items pass strict quality testing and standards for inclusion in our product offering.

Benefits

  • Altering cutting flute geometries greatly reduce vibrations, thus allowing faster metal removal rates, improved surface finishes and longer tool life.
  • Breakup of the chattering and minimized tool deflection provides faster and deeper machining.
  • Increased cutting depth and feed rates.

Applications

Excels on the following materials: mild steels, cast iron, tool steels, titanium -hardened steels and low hardness material under HRc 40.

Features

  • Low amplitude variable sine wave design allows smoother cutting at higher speeds and inches per minute.
  • Made from SUPERCEED® grade carbide.
  • X-Factor® coating improves oxidation resistance and toughness.
  • Corner radius protects against end mill chipping.
