Applications

The YG1 07593TD solid carbide end mill features a 1/2″ diameter, 1″ length of cut, and 4-flute geometry with a 30° helix angle, providing a rigid and precise cutting tool optimized for non-ferrous materials. The diamond coating enhances abrasion resistance and fiber shearing capabilities, making it especially effective for profiling and trimming abrasive carbon or glass fiber composites.
Its geometry supports smooth chip evacuation, reduces edge wear, and improves surface finish quality. The sharp edges, free of a corner radius, enable precise cutting without chipping concerns typical of radiused tools.
This end mill is not suitable for steel, stainless steel, or cast iron, as the diamond coating is not well suited for use with these materials. It is designed specifically for non-ferrous and composite applications.
