Applications

This VNMG331-HA H01 insert supports cutting speeds from 492 to 3281 sfm. Feed and depth of cut values are not published, but the insert is suited for continuous, general, and light interrupted cutting with a maximum depth of cut up to approximately 3.8 mm for finishing and light semi-finishing operations. It is designed primarily for ISO N non-ferrous metals. The negative rake chipbreaker and 35° diamond shape provide excellent clearance and profiling versatility but limit suitability to finishing and light semi-finishing cuts. Interrupted cutting is supported only in light conditions due to chipbreaker and shape constraints.
