    HSS construction provides improved wear life for repeated threading tasks on small parts.

    Round die with chamfered faces to streamline engagement: one side features a 2 to 3 thread chamfer for standard threading; the opposite face has a 1 to 1-1/2 thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder.

    Fine pitch adjustment screw enables precise control of die opening to start threads cleanly and maintain consistent pitch along the workpiece.

    Beveled slot design permits adjustment when the die is mounted in a machine holder; the adjusting screw can be removed and adjustments made via the holder’s screws.

    Primed for delicate, close-clearance threading where shoulder interference must be avoided.
